empty calories

Well my BF’s father just called..the one that was gonna give us a car.  He called with bad news he brought the car to the garage and it wasn’t the starter after all..its the engine.  Just when everything was looking up, something comes down.  I should have expected this because with our luck..oh wait a minute…we have none..lol.  Anyways, today I go back to work, seems like I haven’t been there in a while…1 wk. as a matter of fact.  So it’ll be nice to get in a little more movement and to see everyone that i haven’t seen in a while.  Yesterday, I did ok..could have done much better than I have been doing…had  a lot of soda yesterday which frustrates me because all it is is a whole lot of empty calories.  oh yeah, i had a big bowl of chips too…gggrrrr…what am i thinking.  It seems as if I make these choses without even realizing it until it is to late.  I just get up and get a glass of soda without even thinking of it, then my BF brings over chips and sure enough I reach my hand into the bowl…without even thinking of it until the bowl is gone.  so far today I been doing ok..breakfast had a bowl of cereal, yogurt and 1/2 banana….snack: 1 c. of blueberries…I plan on eating healthy for the rest of the day and drinking water instead of soda.  Hope you all had a great weekend. 

day 16

Well day 16 was a little better.  My foot didn’t hurt as much as it did….thank god, cause it hurt like a B@$%#!  Well for breakfast had 1 egg with spinach, 1/2 whole grain english muffin and some berries, snack: 1/2 apple, Lunch: chicken wrap, snack: little piece of chocolate Dinner:bowl of cereal, berries.
Tonight I dont’ have to work so i’m going to take the kids to the park and go walking, then do some grocery shopping.  My official weigh in is not until tomorrow but i checked it out this morning and i’m so frustrated….i’ve been doing so friggin good and i have not budged a bit…yes, yes, i know maintaining is better than gaining yaddy yaddy ya……..but i’m so frustrated because i’ve been doing this know for 2 months and i only lost 6 lbs…i don’t know what i am doing wrong…yes my eating could be a little better but i’ve been doing really well i think..my calories never go to low or high…i’ve been excercising for the most part…except for the past couple of days cause of my foot…but i should be a little further …any suggestions?

13, 14..woo hooo

Well so far so good..only one wk. left for the 21 day challenge.  Yesterday I had to work and for the most part of the day I worked in the office, and later on I worked on the salesfloor…for 3 hrs.  I wore a pedometer (borrowed from the store) and did 5.5 miles.  So I figured that was enough for the day..oh yeah… I forgot before I went there I walked 1 mile…at 5:30 in the morning…I think that is the first time I ever did that, but it wont be the last.  I ate great all day, stuck to my plan, except for 1 thing..had a 1/2 c. of chocholate chip cookie dough icecream but I had a lot of extra calories to spare.  So I didn’t even feel a bit guilty. 
I just finished cleaning the house the kids helped out a lot.  I polished, vacummed, cleaned the bathroom, laundry, dishes, beds,…etc.  ahhh…it feels so nice to sit a spotless house…lets see how long that last with the kids…although I realized if they help, it stays cleaner longer…and keeps me happy.  well that all for now…talk to you all later.
